Social licensing
At Zolan Licensing Agency, we believe art is more than beauty — it’s a catalyst for change. Many of our artists have independently created social licensing programs that support women and children, animal rights and the environment. From the legacy of Donald Zolan’s childhood storytelling to Enrico Fossati’s cinematic visions of nature, Ivana Helsinki’s global women’s and animal initiatives, and Shane Koehler’s conservation and education projects, these examples show how art can drive real impact. By sharing their stories, we open the door to future collaborations that unite brands, causes, and creativity in powerful new ways.

Enrico Fossati – Cinematic Visions of Nature
Through cinematic landscapes and environmental storytelling, Enrico Fossati’s photography highlights the fragile beauty of nature. His work has supported projects that raise awareness for conservation, giving brands an opportunity to connect art, sustainability, and eco-conscious values in meaningful product collaborations.
Donald Zolan – Art for the Hearts of Children
Donald Zolan’s lifelong dream was the wish for all children to lead a secure and happy childhood full of love and free of fear. In the studies of Dr. Luisella Magnani on Zolan’s paintings, she described them as “Biophysical Psychosocial Therapy for oncological children and for all children affected by disease.”
During a five-year collaboration with Dr. Magnani at an Italian Pediatric Oncology hospital, Zolan’s paintings became little friends and a source of comfort to the children suffering with cancer. Zolan’s work continues to support children through initiatives with the YMCA, United Way, and didactic learning books in South America.
As Dr. Magnani observed: “The Zolan children paintings become Little Sweet Friends for children in pain and the windows to children’s hearts and minds.”

Ivana Helsinki – Championing Women, Animals & the Environment
Since 1998, the Ivana Helsinki brand has engaged in global projects supporting women’s rights, animal welfare, and environmental causes. As Charity Ambassador for World Vision, Amnesty International, and UN Women for Organ Donation, her hands on initiatives have spanned the globe from teaching entrepreneurship to young women in Rwanda, to collaborating with Peruvian women in knitwear design for New York Fashion Week, to launching Finland’s Adopt a Sheep program preserving heritage and sustainability – all with the vision in making the world a better place.
Shane Koehler – Inspiring Environmental Stewardship
Shane Koehler is a fine artist and outdoor educator whose work at the Conservancy weaves environmental education into every painting. His imaginative wildlife art inspires a sense of stewardship and reverence for life, reflecting his passion for connecting people with nature and wildlife, themselves, and each other. A portion of his royalties and fine art sales support environmental initiatives, making each collaboration an opportunity to create meaningful partnerships that give back to the planet.
